With a stunning array of unique, contemporary designs available from many of the most exciting artists currently operating on the scene, there should be a piece of canvas wall art fit for any taste. Any piece of art can be transferred to canvas, be it an abstract painting, classical iconic design or even a photograph, the transfer to canvas will lend the design a dimension and texture that will really help it stand out.

All artwork will be duplicated using 'giclee' printing technology that has been designed specifically for incredibly detailed, high quality canvas reproductions. Unlike many printing systems that only use a 4 colour system, giclee uses a 12 colour system with allows for a far broader gamut of colours and significantly more impressive colour definition and reproduction. This technique also means that your canvas wall art will be more able to stand the test of time (up to 100 years) and the studier material of the canvas is far more resilient than standard print paper.

The most common form of canvas wall art currently is the photographic reproduction, where any of your digital photographs can be duplicated in incredible detail on a silk canvas transfer lending them a definition and texture that will make them seem almost lifelike. There is not just the option for a straight photo reproduction either, all photos can be touched up or altered in high-tech software programs such as Photoshop to create a heavily stylised look or create an entirely new piece of art out of your existing photo.

Transferring your digital photos into canvas life couldn't be simpler. Once your photo has been received and checked over (making sure it has adequate pixel density to be accurately reproduced) an artist will enhance it to its optimum colour levels using a complex colour management system. Next the design will be printed onto a 400gsm satin or matt canvas that will give the image a great texture and almost lifelike definition. Satin is the preferred material as the finish it provides is generally more pleasing and it has more protection than a matt canvas, the matt canvas gives a more 'glossy' look and is an acquired taste.

All canvases will be framed using incredibly high quality, deep kiln bars made from the finest woods. At a depth of 50mm and considering the kilns are built from such a solid and durable wood, the frames will not bend or warp over time. Your canvas wall art print will be hand-stretched over the kiln so that it is taught and tidy with neatly folded corners and no marks or blemishes and a tidily presented reverse. It should also be noted that all frames should be made from sustainable sources.
