When We Spend Time At Our Cabin By The Lake, We Like Taking Cheap Jigsaw Puzzles To Enjoy In The Evenings

My family was going to take a much needed vacation to a little cabin on a lake in Northern Idaho and for entertainment during the long TV-less nights, we decided to pick up some cheap jigsaw puzzles. My wife and I had often enjoyed working puzzles together ever since we had begun dating, and we had fostered a love of puzzles in our children as well, so they were excited about the idea to get some new puzzles to take to the lake.
My first thought was just to rush down to the nearest toy store and pick up what they had on clearance, but when I got there, I found that they only had one kind of puzzle on clearance and that all the other puzzles were way too pricey. Disappointed, I went back home to inform my wife and kids that we'd have to just use the old puzzles and games from last year.
When I got there, I told my wife what had happened, but oddly, she didn't seem bothered at all as she just nodded and left the room. I felt like I had given it my best shot, so I decided to focus my attention on getting the boat ready and making certain in was all in good repair and ready for a good ride on the water. While I was doing this, my wife came in the room with a smile on her face, but didn't mention anything to me about where she had been or what she was doing.
The week before our vacation went by fast, as we were all busy with last minute preparations and feeling enthusiastic about getting away. One day that week, the doorbell rang and I was very confused to find a package sitting on my front doorstep. When I asked my wife what it was she gladly told me that she had gone online and found some cheap jigsaw puzzles that looked great, so she had ordered them to surprise us for our trip.
We decided to wait until we got to the cabin to show the kids that we had indeed gotten some new puzzles, and they were completely delighted. They were particularly amused by the horse puzzles my wife had selected as well as the lion puzzles she had ordered. She also ordered some 3D jigsaw puzzles which were a new thing for us, and we had a blast working together to try and figure it out, and most importantly, we just loved spending time together as a family.
